Eating out:
I recently visited Sydney and had a fantastic lunch at Iku Wholefood in Glebe. I wasn’t surprised to see how many Iku Wholefoods in Sydney, considering how delicious the food is.
Iku Wholefood was founded on the premise that if you eat a balanced diet, you will have a balanced life. Food affects you mentally, emotionally and physically. At Iku, wholefood is prepared as close as possible to its natural state, nutritious ingredients with all their goodness intact. Iku also strives to use organic and high quality local ingredients whenever possible.
And the bonus? Iku always has foods available that are wheat free and gluten free AND all their foods are dairy free, additive free, preservative free and free from genetic modification.

I wasn’t that hungry, so for lunch I had an AMAZING miso soup which was blended with cauliflower and leek (will try and recreate the magic soon and post a recipe), a plain inari Japanese rice ball and one of the tastiest rice paper rolls I’ve ever eaten.
I’m sure Sydney-siders have known about Iku for a long time now, but I’m glad I’ve stumbled upon these gems and will be back next time I’m in town!
